Throw a chair at your school Principal
(Indianapolis) - A nine-year-old boy has been charged with battery after throwing a chair at his principal.
Marion County Juvenile Prosecutor Gary Chavers says the incident happened Tuesday afternoon at School 107 on the west side. According to a police report, the third grader was sent to Principal Jennifer Botts-Brown after throwing things in his classroom. He then allegedly threw a chair and hit the principal in the leg.
Police say when they arrived, the youngster was kicking the wall and an air conditioning unit. A school spokeswoman says the child had not taken his prescribed medicine yesterday.
The child has been released to his parents while the prosecutor decides whether to file the case.
